Meet The Team

Amanda is the co-founder of Shine Pediatric Therapy. She attended Quinnipiac University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Health Science degree in 2015 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. She loves working in pediatrics and has experience in clinic-based, school-based, early intervention, and aquatic pediatric physical therapy. In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cats Rico and Otto, skiing, hiking, reading, and watching sports.

Katelyn is the co-founder of Shine Pediatric Therapy. She attended Quinnipiac University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Health Science degree in 2015 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. She has experience working in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings and loves getting to work with kids! In her free time Katelyn enjoys spending time with her dogs Finn and Louie, hiking, doing projects around the house and hanging out with her friends and family.

Nikki attended California State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language and Linguistics in 2011, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language in 2013. In 2016, she graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Nikki has experience in school-based (TK-12) and preschool-aged speech and language therapy with specialization in language and literacy development. She enjoys spending time with her husband & spunky daughter, traveling, ice skating, music, and anything creative!

Faith was bred, raised, and professionally service-trained by Canine Companions for Independence in Oceanside, California. She provides animal-assisted therapy as a member of the speech therapy team with her handler, Nikki. She has a calm and gentle interaction style and responds to over 40 commands that she uses with a variety of materials to delight and motivate her littlest human friends! In her spare time, she loves playing tug with her dog friends, relaxing on fuzzy blankets, and receiving belly rubs from just about anyone!

Madi is an occupational therapist at Shine Pediatric Therapy. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Occupational Science from Keuka College in 2021 and Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in 2022. She loves working with kids of all ages and has experience working in the school-based setting (Pre-K-12) and outpatient setting. Madi played lacrosse in college and in her free time she enjoys camping, crafting, and spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs Kimber and Hunter.

Jenn is an occupational therapist at Shine Pediatric Therapy. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Keuka College in 1997. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career including inpatient rehabilitation, early intervention and preschool services, and has been working in the school setting for the past 16 years. Jenn loves working with children of all ages, has vast experience working children of all abilities, and has a passion for working with sensory integration dysfunction. Jenn and her husband have three children and a family Goldendoodle named KC. She spends her free time traveling with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, and taking long walks with her dog.   

Tara is a speech therapist at Shine Pediatric Therapy. She attended Temple University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science in 2022. She continued on to receive her Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science in 2024 from Saint Louis University.

Tara has experience working in community settings and birth to five age group. Tara enjoys reading, crocheting, and hiking. She enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Peanut

Julia is an occupational therapist at Shine Pediatric Therapy. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology in 2020 and Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Le Moyne College in 2022.  I have experience school-based, early intervention, and outpatient pediatrics. In her free time, ehe enjoys reading, crafting,skiing and watching reality television.. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and cats.

Kelly is a physical therapist at Shine Pediatric Therapy. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Neuroscience from Binghamton University in 2021 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2024. She has experience working in outpatient orthopedic and early intervention physical therapy settings. She loves working with kids of all ages! Kelly enjoys spending her free time traveling, hiking, running, baking, and spending time with her family, dogs, and cats!
